Guest room

This specific space has served as a multipurpose room ever since we bought our home. When it isn't the playroom, it's the guest bedroom, and vice versa. We wanted a children's space that embraced all the whimsy and a guest bedroom that felt all kinds of cozy. Quite the blend of opposites, but we are thrilled to have found furniture design solutions at AFW! AND just in time for guests during the upcoming holidays!

We love how these pieces complement our multi-purpose space with multi-functional amenities. For instance, the side table also serves as a charging station with USB ports and electrical outlets, while the sectional sofa also converts to a full size bed. Oh and I can't go without mentioning storage and our addiction to any piece of furniture that provides more of it! Especially in a small room frequently filled with toys and games galore, any piece of furniture providing additional storage solutions is gold!

We love that the pieces from American Furniture Warehouse are classic and versatile in style so they will evolve with our family over time. Right now, while our children are young, this space is perfect as a play room, but as our family needs change, our furniture doesn't have to. I love how the Tyler Creek collection from American Furniture Warehouse is traditional in appearance, making it adaptable to future style changes.

"Small rooms can pack a lot of punch " Advice I would give to anyone trying to achieve this look is to start by looking for multifunctional pieces that serve the need of your particular space. Small rooms can still pack a lot of punch when we choose furniture design solutions with multiple amenities. Once a room has what it needs to be multipurpose, add decor to create a feeling. As I mentioned above, my goal was to create a whimsical, peaceful retreat for my children and guests so I kept that feeling in mind while selecting items to create the overall look! Remember, style trends come and go, but what you love is always a classic.
