Under the direction of president and CEO Jake Jabs, American Furniture Warehouse has been actively involved with the Colorado community for more than 30 years. For us, giving back is a top priority. As such, American Furniture contributes more than $2 million as well as time and in-kind donations to hundreds of worthwhile organizations each year, including The Muscular Dystrophy Association, Easter Seals Colorado, March of Dimes, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Project C.U.R.E., among many others. American Furniture Warehouse concentrates our charitable contributions and support on non-profit organizations with a primary focus on any of the following areas:
- Providing programs and services to those living with disabilities, debilitating or life-threatening illnesses as well as their caregivers
- Researching and/or working toward cures for those living with disabilities, debilitating or life-threatening illnesses
- Improving the quality of life for children and the elderly
- Providing assistance to those impacted by natural disasters
Notes from Jake Jabs
Here at American Furniture Warehouse we strive to not just be a furniture store, but also give back and help the communities we are a part of each day. I think It's important to give back to the community where you run your business. That's why every year American Furniture Warehouse donates to hundreds of charitable organizations. Some donations come in the form of money, others in furniture, but the main point is to help those in need in Colorado and Arizona. We have been donating money to the Colorado Community for over 30 years, and we will continue that goal in the future, in both Colorado and Arizona. Some of the charities we donate to include Easter Seals Colorado, Muscular Dystrophy Association, T.A.P.S. and many more. We've also done in-store promotions to help benefit the Children's Hospital and the American Heart Association.
In business it is important to give back to the community that supports you and at American Furniture Warehouse we do it every year!
